Jasmine Borromeo - Interior Designer

Interior design is my creative outlet in which I combine functional design with beautiful aesthetics to bring my client's remodeling dreams to fruition. At a young age, I learned that interior design was not just about making things look pretty, but that it can also benefit people's physical and mental well-being. It is my mission to share the benefits that design can offer by providing affordable services and quality design to my community.

I graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego in Jan. 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design. After working for a few design companies, I started my own design firm, Curated Comfort Interiors. In collaboration with my father's construction company, I began my dream of offering budget-friendly design services to my community.  My experiences learning in the field first-hand kept me humble and on my toes. I enjoyed the opportunities and freedom to create designs for my clients. However, I missed collaborating with fellow designers, and I was eager to experience the world outside of my bubble.

 

Fast forward to April 2021, when I decided to move to Portland, OR, and joined Neil Kelly as the sole  Designer of the Home Improvement PDX division. It was a joy working with our team and creating a variety of projects. I have since then worked with a few other design companies, adapting to the ups and downs of the remodeling industry. I have become more knowledgeable through these experiences and have seen myself grow in confidence as a design-build professional.

Honesty, integrity, and respect are a few of the values I hold onto most. I do my best work when I am happy and in a positive environment. I am very empathetic and sensitive to how others are feeling. I am a self-starter, a leader, and goal-driven. Taking on challenging projects, multi-tasking, and using an array of skills is my bread and butter. During my free time, I enjoy paddleboarding, karaoke, and spending time with my family.
